Select the Driver tab and click Update Driver. Click the Change settings button on the Window that appears. Select the Hardware tab and click on RolandMDX-40A and then click Properties. Right click on this and select Properties. Go to Control Panel -> Hardware and Sound -> Devices and Printers, at the bottom of the list should be an 'Unspecified' item named MDX-40A. On Windows 10 64-Bit, download the latest 64-Bit drivers from here ( ) and extract to a folder. Once this has been done, you can now configure the device on Windows 10 64-Bit. ( ) and select the drivers from the WindowsDriver subfolder. Run the MDX40AUpdater.exe and follow the instructions, when asked to install the Printer, use the same information that adhutton provided years ago for installation. To update the Firmware you will need to be physically at the printer for the multiple times you have to press certain button combinations. On a Windows 7 machine, download the UpgradePackage.exe from 3D | Download | Roland DG Corporation (aka ) and run the package to extract the installer files into a directory. Ok, so we recently had to get this working from Windows 7 32-Bit to Windows 10 64-Bit, in case any of you are still using the TS-30's we had to update the Firmware from a Windows 7 machine to the Firmware for the MDX40A, this is what we had to do.
